QM@ is quite a vessel.
My wife and I have sailed aboard Carnival Fasciniation a year or so ago to Key West, Fla., and Nassau, Bahamas. She has been on many more cruises than I.
I have an interst in ships; I sailed two masted sailboats in Southern aNew England (but never a catamaran nor trimaran). I suppose sailing is in my blood, although I don't consider myself a sailor.

My first cruise was out of Sidney, Aus. in 1977 - a 30 day cruise and I LOVED it. Family obligations kept me on land until 1996. Since then I have had 14 cruises.Carb, 01/07 & 04/07 Med. 06/07, Car. next week & trans-atlantic on12/07. It is the only was to travel. I looked into "The World" ship where you buy your condo. Unfortunately, my pocketbook could not handle the 1 1/2 million a year that would cost! I was on the QM2 when she hit something leaving Ft. Lauderdale on her maiden voyage around cape Horn & up to L.A.It was both sad and exciting. Since I am now 79 my plans for 2008 are still fluid. I live alone and have to find someone to travel with me - makes things a bit more difficult. Hope I see you down the line. Good sailing!
