I am finding it hard to get my foot in the door offshore. I have done BOSIET,Medical and Greenhand course. As well as that i have experience in Firefighting, Aviation fuelling, Flight information service, Boat handling etc, etc. I am willing to start as soon as.

I am just starting to promote my new website which has lots of courses for the oil industry, particularly regarding drilling and wells. Last week I taught my first IWCF Well Control school sucessfully. In the 1990s I have trained a lot of guys in Australia at rig-sites in "Ice-Breaker" preparation courses for difficult wells. Some of these folk may remember me. Back in the 1980's I was one of the first female Drilling Engineers and Supervisor in the North Sea- mainly in the Norwegian sector- Kos Ga det?
After a year in Oman, followed by one in an Oil Company office I recently decided to revive the training I had given in Australia and to add some new products. You can see on the web site www.internationalpetroleumschool.com the variety. Apart from normal 5-day IWCF Well Control courses I am keen to take entrants to IWCF courses who may find getting the IWCF qualification difficult if for example they are new AD's, or are new graduates who are new to rigs, or if English is for them a Second Language. I am also open to experienced personnel who are well practiced in well control needing to just get their Re-qualification done- for them I will consider dates outside those noted on the web-site and can manage weekends too. For personnel wanting on-line learning I need to hear from them as to what they want. I have a wealth of past course materials- introductory through to experienced, mostly drilling and well engineering, lots with practical and direct safety related scenarios that I have created and delivered face-to face. I would like to see enough demand to enable these to be turned into on-line learning. Any other demands (using my training abilities)- just let me know.
