Just a note to thank you for all your work...I\'ve managed to get a few photos of my bro Samuel Wm. Lynn 1961-68 - 23909764. He passed Dec 2018. It was always a bone of contention that he could never find \"The Book of Cameronians\", so I made a right nuisance of myself and finally found it through the Covenanter Mag. I copied all the names on Excel and sent them to Douglas & The Museum....Now that I am looking at your site I see you have it as well although I cannot seem to download it.....no matter....a job well done and I am sure he will be looking down thanking you. I think I have enough for his memorial, so thank you again for all your efforts...lest we forget!

Thank you so much Eddie for the photos posted. My bro LYNN, S.W. 23909764 passed suddenly and quietly 8 Dec 2018. I\'ve been searching since then to out together a memorial and the assistance from the Friends of the Cameronians, Museum and yourself has been invaluable. He had 2 buddies, Davie Milroy who I believe may have passed on sand I think J. Masterton (I would need a photo of him to verify). I got the \"lists\" just before you and I did the same as yourself...sent them to the Museum and Douglas Torrence. Keep up the good work

I was with him when he was stationed in Germany though a don\'t remember being there I remember being in Edinburgh and Nairn.

I have little information on him, except that he was an HGV driving instructor, and had possibly left the services in the early 1960\'s, as I was born in 1965. His name was James Douglas Boyle, born in 1942. Two his pals were a Ray Oakman, born 1940, and an Edwin Raven, who managed to sign up at the age of 15 in 1955. Dad signed up in 1957 and was demobbed in 1960\".
