I was only twenty-three months and ten days old. I later remember my Grandmother telling about the train ride from Mississippi to Philadelphia, and how proud she was to see her son, a plankowner, on the newest ship, commissioned the Kitty Hawk.

In 1988 I was the Police Chief in Flagler Beach, Fl. when a large amount of medical waste appeared on our beach. A month long investigation in Sept. 1988 showed that the medical waste came from the KITTY HAWK. Question where was the HAWK headed to in the Fall of 1988?

I remember when that sailor was killed. I was on the flight deck at the time. He was leading an A4D fighter plane with a T-handle up to the shuttle. They lowered a jet blast deflector too fast and it blew him off the ship.
