We now have more information regarding the Lydden Long track weekend meeting. If you are genuinely interested in taking part could you please post your name, car number and class on the the IK forum under this heading. I've copied and pasted it to fb but replies should come to IK please.
The meeting will be held over two days, 20/21 June. There is no IK meeting that weekend but is is a BAS/UKAC weekend.
There will be 3 races each day. The entry fee is £75.00 for the whole weekend including admission for up to 4 people.
Unfortunately Juniors will not be allowed to race at this event.
The closing date for entries is 31st May. If there is enough interest the promoter will except NASA cars which will probably run with SEGTO.
Please let us know asap if you would like to be included in this special event.
We don't know if we have been accepted yet. It will depend on the number of drivers interested and then we will have to wait for the official authorisation from NASA.
It's strange, the interest seems to have dwindled since the original posting went out in February.
We'll keep you all posted on any decisions as soon as we know.
For those not going to the BAS or UK is it the realisation of racing on grass one week then changing suspension, tyres and maybe gear ratio for Lydden then changing it all back again for grass the following week. Or is that just an age thing!
neil my dad is interested but doesn no 1 end of a computer to the other! any info could you pass to him at meetings or via steve or myself via email many thanks! fred on behalf of paul!
