The breather for my fuel tank pushes into the side of the filling neck instead of being clamped on to a small pipe sticking out

Will my car past scrutineering like this

I think the scrutineers would prefer to see exactly how you have positioned the breather pipe before they comment. I'm sure they will advise you when you bring your car to the track.

Don't forget the breather pipe must terminate at floor level.
