Some scrutineering tips.

Below are a few items that I think may be high on the agenda at Nationals scrutineering this year. If you make sure your car complies it may save you a lot of time later!

1. Holes in rollcage.

The rollcage must be drilled to allow for measuring the wall thickness. The absolute minimum for the wall thickness is 2.5mm.

2. Head restraints.

The seat head restraint/headrest must provide support for the drivers head. Beware, if you are fairly tall, not all seat head restraints are high enough. You may need to fit an additional head restraint above the top of the seat.

3. Numbers

Vehicle identification club letters and numbers to be plain black on white panel. No shading, blocking, outlining or leaning is allowed.
