As the heading says, Important Information, NASA have introduced a new Compulsory Rule as from the Chairman's meeting on 28th June, All Autograss meetings now have to have a fully qualified Paramedic in attendance at every meeting no matter how small the meeting.
The implications of this are our Ambulance and crew now are a lot more expensive, we are now being charged £585 per meeting, this is more expensive than some clubs but a lot cheaper than several around the Country.
Just to warn you all before Sunday our signing on fees are now up from £5.00 to £7.00 per person to help cover the extra costs.
Every club in the Country are affected by this new rule.
On the plus side having a Paramedic at the meeting if any incidents as we had at the last meeting with the 2 juniors with neck injuries they can be attended to with professional care immediately, our 2 guys we have had in attendance in the past were EMT's, Emergency Medical Technicians, who are very good but do not have the expertise of a Paramedic.
I believe for an extra £2.00 from every driver is a small price to pay for the peace of mind of having the best of Medical cover.
