Yesterdays meeting.

Firstly, we are pleased to hear that both Bradley Pullen and Jack Redford are well but aching after their separate incidents in the Junior races yesterday. Neither of them have any serious injuries.

The paramedics take no chances when there is a suspected back or neck injury and so use all their expertise to removed the driver carefully using a body board and stretcher. This all takes time but the safety and well being of the driver is most important.

Secondly, as a result of the long delays dealing with the two incidents we had no choice but to end the meeting prematurely. Unfortunately several classes were unable to complete their finals so the committee have decided the fairest way is to calculate the final positions by adding the points scored in the two heats and allocating these points as final positions.

For example;
If a driver had two wins in his heats he would obviously be top points scorer and so would be allocated 55 points for the final giving him 165 points for the meeting. We would then calculate the points from the remaining cars in that class to get the eight final places. If there are any ties for positions then equal points will be given.
