I have been asked by various members to clarify the identification numbers required on everybodies race car. I was at the nasa meeting on sunday and this was brought up, they are now saying the number must be checked and passed as in the rule books. But they will allow a slight slope and that is all. Here is the information from the nasa information sheets available on line.

Class 3 page 44 figure 8
Class 4. 5. 6. 7. page 51 figure 12
Class 8. 9. 10. page 36 figure 15
or in your class rule books as they have been for many many year.

They stated that any car at the Nationals will not race if they think the numbers are not right.

what I have been saying for years !!!!!

and...if your going to 'scunny shakedown' make sure your numbers are legal,,its a long way to go,only to be sent away...you been warned !!!

Just make sure you pack a tin of each black white paint into grasser kit and let the nasa toffs paint it themselfs! ! Or take a teen and give em a spray can......yerrr sorted boys,!!!!!!!!!!
