Unusual duck at Greylake.

It was a bright but bitter morning at Greylake, so bitter that only a handful of brave birders ventured out to the hides!
As it was so windy, the birds stayed down mostly, but I had good views of a Kingfisher in front of the hide, plus Marsh Harrier, Kestrel, Buzzard, Snipe and various ducks.
There was one unusual duck that I only noticed when looking back at my pics at home.
An escape?
There's a pic of it in flight on my blog, the last picture, on the left of 2 Teal in flight. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Unusual duck at Greylake.

Hi Carl, looks like the same duck as I reported last week. It's not obvious what it is. It could have been a leucistic teal but I am not sure now seeing your image.

Hi Robin. If I was to guess I'd say it was a version of Teal, same size, though plumage totally different!

Partially leucistic Teal.
