Seawatching

Leach's Petrels and Pomarine Skuas were seen along the North Coast today between Somerset and Gloucestershire.

The weather conditions look similar tomorrow afternoon, so I was wondering if it would be worth seawatching tomorrow, and where would be the best sites to watch from in Somerset/Avon please?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Seawatching

Hello Oliver,

A good spot to visit is Severn Beach Near the 'New' Severn Bridge.

There are walk ways bordering the severn just pick a bench and scan the river.

I have seen Leach's Petrels & Skuas there in the past.

Worth a go,good luck.

Regards,

Eian Wall.

Re: Seawatching

Thanks Eian, I was thinking this would be the best place. I may try Sunday Morning when the wind and tide fits.
