An Otter was reportedly seen in the various waterways of Waltons Heath this afternoon.

I did appear briefly in front of Tor View hide. This caused the eight or nine people in the hide to start shouting "Otter! Otter!" so, needless to say, it was not seen again. Incredible insensitivity.

John, I've rarely been in a hide where people are consistently so noisy. It's often disgraceful.

Don't know why RSPB don't put up a friendly sign on the way in...
