Back from the high mountains of the Pyrenees (filming Griffon Vultures,see them on my website) to the flatlands of the Somerset levels,what a contrast so a quick browse around Tealham to see what's around. One Kingfisher,two G Herons One very small Little Egret and a around 20 Linnets on Tealham.
In the large field opposite the entrance to Westhay NNR some 50 Meadow Pipits feeding,a very dark coloured Buzzard searching for worms was suddenly attacked by a second bird,after a brief scrap the intruder returned to its perch.Fading light ,went home.06/10/2015.
