A small Tern has been feeding in the north east corner of Meare Heath for the last 2 mornings (27, 28) but it is too far back for me to be sure of its ID It certainly behaves like a Marsh Tern.
29-July-15 Had a look over that part of the reserve this afternoon, but no sign of a tern.
There was a Common Tern loafing with the Blk Wits on Ham Wall (from VP2) for a couple of hours this morning, still there up until at least mid day.
I could not see any terns yesterday either so may be it has moved away or to Ham Wall.
