I had incredible views of a Great Crested Grebe hunting a shoal of fish underwater at Herriots Bridge at Chew Valley Lake yesterday!

Whilst there a small group of large waders flew over, I think they were Whimbrel with a Bar Tailed or Black tailed Godwit.

Looks like you've got the new camera sorted there Carl! We watched a Grebe under Noahs hide a few years back when it was fishing. It is pretty amazing. Getting pictures is hard though! I really like the one with the Grebe underneath the fish.
