a flock of 200+ fieldfare with a smattering of redwings between Bishops Lydeard & Ash priors in fields on right of last house leaving Bishops Lydeard a lovely sight & sound Chris Thorne

Winter thrushes still going through the Blackdowns and elsewhere. 5 Redwings in my Churchinford garden this morning and 15+ on the old railway track just south of Langport this afternoon along with at least 3 singing Chiffchaffs. Plenty of Fieldfares in the Blackdowns this week although just over the border in Devon.

Further to Fridays comment, 12 Fieldfares at Tricky Warren yesterday plus a handsome male Wheatear in the solar park compound.
