4 spotted redshanks feeding in the creek running south off the spillway this morning, plus the usual few teal, wigeon, heron, little egret, common redshanks, curlew, grey plover, shelducks and dunlin out on the bank.
2 cracking Red-breasted Mergansers (pair) between Huntspill Sluice and Brue estuary this afternoon, but flew off north. Also lots of Redshanks, 8 Avocets, 3 Black-tailed Godwits and 2 Wheatears there.
