One Brambling and several Siskin in a mixed flock of mostly Chaffinch quite near the carpark around midday today. All the commoner woodland species present including Marshtit.
After four or five attempts we finally managed to track down the female Brambling in Combe Hill Wood this morning. It was with a very mobile flock of tits and Chaffinches moving around the area NW of the car park. Small groups of Siskins also scattered around the wood.
