1 Merlin (female/juvenile type) - located perched on a driftwood log out on the marshes. It flew off low and fast after 15 minutes, apparently hunting.
2 (possibly 3) Peregrine - two adults roosting, one on a pylon and the other on the ground. Later a male seen stooping at a high flying Lapwing several times unsuccessfully and finally an adult female flew low upstream above the river Parrett.
5 Kestrel - all hover-hunting.
6 Common Buzzard - loafing about on the ground and on low perches.
