A message received this morning from Steve Waite, Devon Recorder,about an immature Purple Heron seen by a group of Devon birders at Ham Wall at 3pm on Wednesday (10th). It was along the edge of the drain just south of the old railway bridge between Ashcott Corner and the 1st viewing platform, apparently.
