Hurlstone pt

This morning off Hurlstone saw 25 Red-throated diver over 70 Auk sp a single Bonxie and a Harbour Porpoise.
It is worth noting last year this time off the point we encountered up to 7 times the amount of divers per watch for this period though it was an exceptional season

Re: Hurlstone pt

Off Minehead this morning a total of 104 Red-throated Divers flew back west between 08:10 and 09:40, the majority of these were in the first 40 minutes. This was the first time for a considerable while there has been much of a NW wind blowing. A Great Skua and a Fulmar were the only thing of note apart from about 20 Guillemots/Razorbills.
Given the forecast for mid week onwards conditions could be ideal for more big counts of divers
