Greylake Peregrines and car break in

At Greylake:

1 Wren (in the hide!!!)
3 Peregrines sat on tree
1 Kestrel
2 Buzzards
1 Male Stonechat

Two cars broken into. Thieves made off with valuable items I believe

The glass in the car park looked fresh, but I didn't realise just how fresh! Apparently one of the cars broken into belonged to an elderly couple. Comments on Twitter about the perpetrators use fitting terms to describe them.

The local reserve car parks seem to attract a spate of break-ins every few years. It's worth being extra careful about what you leave lying around in view at the moment.

Back to the birds. A Great White Egret was on King's Sedgemoor opposite Greylake car park this afternoon, and large numbers of Lapwings and Golden plovers that side too.
