Peregrine v Brent goose

Myself John Rickards & Eian Wall were watching a juv (probably female) peregrine flying low up the river parrett from the Steart viewpoint nr the breach, the falcon flew up behind a small group of brents & hit the rear bird,it then carried it to the far bank,& mantled it,we expected the goose to fly off,it didn't-a clean kill by an immature bird-we were gobsmacked, the peregrine then started to pluck the goose-an amazing spectacle to witness!!

Amazing! I bet the Peregrine enjoyed a bit of goose on a Sunday. Probably ate more than me.
