Hurlstone Point

Hurlstone Pt this morning had 3 Arctic Skuas head West 6 Fulmer,12 Gannet and 2 Harbour Porpoise.Very few Manx Shearwater have been recorded for August which is unusual and could be due to lack of food this far upchannel

and 2 Harbour porpoise

This morning on the Point a large number of Shag totaling at least 38 with a single flock of 30 most of which were juvs also 1 Arctic skua and 2 distant skuas probably Arctic,
26 Common Scoter a Common sandpiper on the rocks below and 3 Harbour porpoise offshore
Yesterday we saw at least 400+ House martins flying around the point and over the sea which for a period of time was quiet a spectacle as they landed on the verticle cliffs then all taking off again
