Apologies for the belated posting, I'm away so much I forget the normal standards of etiquette! On Monday 9th whilst driving down for the (small) gull-fest at Bowling Green Marsh in Devon a Cattle Egret flew over the M5 westwards at the Huntspill River bridge at 2:30pm. Although I was driving the bird was seen well enough and fairly low, the yellow bill and 'no neck' profile noted.
