Together with a huge number of Red Kites, well over ten birds, the coordinated WeBS count in Bridgwater Bay NNR and the WWT Steart Marshes today revealed at least two pairs of Lapwing and one pair of Redshank in suitable breeding habitat - hopeful signs for the new reserve. Plus a Curlew Sandpiper with the wader flock on Wall Common beach.
