Brean Down

Early Morning trip to Brean Down for a spot of birding. I was amazed to find a Red Legged Partridge sat on the Rocks at the very end. Has anyone else ever seen one on Brean Down? Other Birds of note seen, Wheatear, Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, Stonechat, Chiffchaff and Linnet.

Re: Brean Down

Hi Keston,
Nice day for it, and a decent return for your efforts. Red-legged Partridges used to be surprisingly regular on the Down, though I haven't heard of one being seen there for a while. They do turn up in some odd places!
