I checked Burnham & Berrow GC today, from public footpaths and the dunes, following reports from golfers that 2 Cuckoos were observed there yesterday.
Sadly, I neither heard nor saw any this afternoon but the reedbed and the scrub along the top of the dunes did produce a lot of warbler activity, mostly by the more common species but 2 Lesser Whitethroats were my first of the year.
