Red kite seen quartering over Culmstock Common 08:15

Red Kite seen (not by me) over Coleford 12.15pm today

Single Red Kite over Meare Heath at 1110 hrs this morning, heading generally westward for a change (usually go S.W. to N.E). Just 5 Blk Wits and 1 Redshank on the scrape!

The Culmstock bird seen again today,at nearby Sampford Point, appears not to be an adult, probably second calendar year bird.

one red kite 12.30 today over Kingston-ST-Mary.
noticeable bird had several feathers missing from the right wing .

One moving east along the Mendip scarp yesterday afternoon. Mobbed by jackdaws at one stage.
