A beautiful Male Redstart was at Moor Lane in Wincanton this morning.
Managed a passable distant shot!
Skylarks sang above, and the road side hedges were alive with Chiffchaff, Blackcaps, Robins and Wrens, plus the normal Tits and Finches.
2 Crows attacked a Raven in flight, one of the birds tangling with the Raven and both falling from a considerable height to the ground! Both then flew off apparently none the worse.
