This morning at hide No 3 Ham Wall a Little Egret flew in and landed,it started fishing, advanced until it was finally directly in front of the hide it then dipped its beak into the water, I though to drink but no it started to agitate the water and did so for quite a while I took this as another form of disturbing fish but if so it had no luck so it then commenced to preen. Has any one else seen this behavior ? Two more butterfly species to add to the list three Speckled Woods and a Comma on the Sweet Track, plus an interesting as yet unidentified moth.
