Drove past the River Axe at Chard Junction this pm and noticed about a dozen Swallows hawking over the river next to the milk factory - 3/4 of an hour later stopped there on the way back and the numbers had increased to about 50 including a couple of Sand Martins and my 1st House Martin of the year.
