The Glossy Ibis still present on Wick Moor this morning in the fenced off pool which is in the first field east of Hinkley Point, viewed from the coast path. It can be difficult to see when feeding below the fenced area. Also two Wheatears along the boulders adjoining the path
Surprisingly, I found myself the only person looking for the Glossy Ibis this morning between 10.30 and 12.30. Everyone else probably knew it wouldn't be there!
A couple of Wheatears were still among the rocks and a female Merlin was on the ground towards the back of the coastal fields. On the shoreline there were approaching 30 Brent Geese and a female Scaup was sitting on the surface of the water among the Shelduck.
Wonderful morning for a walk along the coast.
