2 Red Kites at Maesbury around 5pm. One watched for 4-5 mins before it drifted off towards Wells. At its closest approx 30 yards. Another Red Kite and a Common Buzzard were then seen circling nearby. Whilst watching the first Kite a Merlin flew through very close to me. Great to have some decent light after work. Another Merlin yesterday on Queen Sedge Moor.
