Water levels falling quite quickly - counted from Hurst Bridge today, previously the only way was from the top of Burrow Hill. Plenty of wildfowl taking advantage of the shallower water. Whooper Swan (two adults), Pintail (191), Shelduck (52), Tufted Duck (63), Shoveler (64), Wigeon (754), Teal (448), Gadwall (2), Great Crested Grebe (2). A flock of 35 Fieldfare flew over heading east and a singing Blackcap was heard.
