My first ever visit to the Cary Moor Reserve today (together with Peter Kelly) yielded ed a Firecrest! viewed and photographed from the hide at a range of just six feet! Lots of Chaffinches and Reed buntings and a couple of Kestrels plus a few Winter thrushes in and over the forage crop.
