Just over the border in Bishop Sutton, that's the village adjacent to Chew Valley Lake a Collared Dove has hatched young! I wonder if this mild weather will produce other early records?

Hi Alan.The pigeon family are notorious for nesting all year round.When I was working for BT ,I saw a Collar dove ,with young.Nesting on top of a security light at Bridgwater telephone exchange.On Christmas eve.
