Prescient comment, Trevor. Water levels have indeed risen, so much so that Kings Sedgemoor is effectively a huge lake, with the main road just a few inches above water. The bottom end of Greylake car park is underwater, only the tops of the gates are showing, and there is no way to the hides without using a boat.I don't think I have ever seen it this bad.
The A372 between Othery and Langport is closed again too.
