A good number of Tawny owls calling all around Wookey Hole this evening. Just after dusk, walking up to the caves a Tawny was calling from a low branch. Giving away his position rather easily. Watched for about 15 mins from a distance of about 10 feet. Even with my daughter saying "amazing" rather loudly. Obviously a very tollerant bird!

Also a male and female Red Crested Pochard close to the edge of Cheddar resevoir today. At the skate park end.
