Long tailed duck present again this morning. Much more difficult to see now as it spent most of the time diving in the middle of the res. Also 1Scaup, 5 Goldeneye, 1Goosander, 3 Red-crested Pochard, 700 plus Pochard and 250 plus Tufted.

along the cycle path nearby, sparrowhawk flying after some small prey there, and emerged again some half hour later on my return trip to home, plenty of woodpidgeon/tits/robins and others to select here, and near the middle football field a grey wagtail ,, couple of wrens near the building site chirping to each other, very lively little area this morning while the sun was bursting out,
