Buzzards

Between Tealham Moor and Catcott three Buzzards two were kind enough to pose for the camera ,at Greylake a Peregrine panicked the ducks as usual, a small number of Dunlin perhaps ten seen in flight, Snipe as always, kept a steady stream of visitors amused.Buzzards pics on website.

Re: Buzzards

Three possible four Buzzards today at locations not far from yesterdays birds. The highlight of the morning was a pair of Peregrines at Greylake, the two birds took turns to give flying displays lasting most of the morning 9.30am to 11.45am one bird returning to the same spot at least ten times without taking any prey then returning to perch in the dead tree to the left of the hide.Strangely despite these frequent flights the Ducks took little notice. Two Water rail in front of the hide and the usual Snipe present.Photos when processed.
