The bird reported here flew off inland just before 1800 on Sunday 22nd September. Appeared to cross the river Axe into 'Avon airspace' before disappearing from view near Weston sewage works. Richard Giles posted 23/09/13.

This seems almost certainly a different bird from the one on Meare Heath that was present yesterday and was still there this morning between 8.00 and 9.30.
