For the second time this month, I've watched a spotted flycatcher living up to its name, in my garden in Mark (catching spotted flies!) There is a favoured dead branch in a sheltered, sunny spot from where they can flit out and snap up the tasty morsels, in their characteristic fashion. Lovely to watch - a highlight of the afternoon.
