At least ten teal present on the lake this morning as well as two grey herons. Moorhen numbers appear to be increasing but the blackbirds which were present last sunday appear to have moved on, it's possible that they may have moved into the hedges on the far side of the river where there is an abundance of blackberries, haws, and elderberries.
Further to this mornings report, the teal count has gone up to at least twenty this afternoon, and I have added a green sandpiper, a grey wagtail, and at least one, possibly two, kingfishers.
