I found a Grey Phalarope at 1pm today in the SW corner of the reservoir. It's visible from the hide although it has a habit of disappearing up the inlet stream.
Still showing well on and off 3.15pm at least. Juvenile moulting to first winter by the looks of it. There's something ironic about the time I've put in seawatching over the past two days and the best seabird I see is at Chard Res!
No sign this morning, in a brief look from hide. Just 2 Common Sandpiper & 2 Kingfisher.
