Swallows

Awoke this morning to the certainty that Autumn is on it's way! Probably 150 swallows swooping around the field at the back of the house in Bruton, then resting on the power lines and preening before another fly around and a repeat performance. This happens every year usually for about 10 days with the numbers growing each day until a mass lift off on the migratory flight.

Re: Swallows

Early this morning had a flock of a hundred or so fly over home heading N.East. Still have a pair,( maybe two), feeding young in my shed.
