Another brief Sunday morning visit to Tealham showed clear signs of autumn passage. On one gate near the north drain a Whinchat, a Wheatear and a Swallow were sharing a resting perch. I failed to find any other Whins or Wheatears but there were a lot of Swallows on the telephone lines near Wedmore and along the moor roads.
