Yesterday (Wednesday) I spent a frustrating hour at the Westhay raised viewing platform. 2 possibly 3 Water Rails were calling very near to where I was stood. I did catch a glimpse of a shape behind some reeds - I would like to think it was one of them but couldn't be totally sure! Still it might be worth a look as they were very close! Might get lucky...

Also 35 Greylag geese in the fields opposite the reserve entrance - including 6 young and 8 Canada Geese.
