Whilst out in my garden (Blackbrook, Taunton) on Friday night, I heard and saw a Rose-ringed Parakeet flying North directly over the house. A garden tick I didn't think I'd ever get!
I saw and heard one too, same evening at about 6.30pm, over Cheddon Road just to the north of Taunton station. Perhaps the same bird? It reminded me of my time in London... parakeets are very much part of the capital's soundscape Ben
